Do some people feel obligated to prevent others from making their own decisions?
Especially when there’s a perfectly acceptable compromise available.
PS I was going to set my mood as “infuriated,” but, sadly, “thirsty” is soon to be more applicable.
Wow, this is a vague post. It reads like you seek advice without any grit to advised upon…
..Easy answer.. People are scum…
So sayth my aged and saged Chuihuahuaness!
because some people seem to feel that other people’s lives are their business.
It’s a sucky human condition.
Because there is only One True Way ™, and they know what it is.
Sigh.
Some of the biggest life decisions are things where I very firmly believe that a person MUST make their OWN informed decision on.
But some people are so arrogant that they can’t resist the urge to try to play “puppet-master” with other people’s lives (and expect to be THANKED for pushing their own preferences onto you). They consider EVERYTHING they find “interesting” to be THEIR business, and they don’t respect anyone else’s right to privacy (or anyone’s else right to make their own lifestyle choices).
One of the silliest of these twits was a walk-in health clinic doctor who told me that she was disgusted to see that I was “horribly disfigured” with FRECKLES, and that I “needed a good plastic surgeon right away” to remove them.
